Green with Envy Home Store is proud to offer custom made mattresses from right here in New Jersey.  Our manufacturer, Orange Mattress, has been producing quality sleep product for over 100 years and have a total commitment to help create a safe and healthy sleeping environment while taking responsibility for our planet.  The materials in our mattresses include cotton, horsehair, latex and wool.  Each natural mattress is covered in 100% natural, organic cotton ticking, is hand tufted and is manufactured with quality materials and workmanship.

Types of Mattresses

Organic Cotton Mattresses

Organic mattresses are as pure as you can get.  We manufacture 2 types of mattresses which have absolutely no chemical additives or fire retardants.  One type is an all-natural organic cotton innerspring mattress while the additional mattress is all-natural latex wrapped in organic cotton.  Each mattress is wrapped with certified 100% organic cotton ticking. The one requirement for the purchase of an organic cotton mattress or set is a doctor’s prescription that mentions a chemical sensitivity issue due to fire retardants. Please be aware while shopping other mattress manufacturers that if a prescriptionIs not required, you should be skeptical about purchasing their organic mattress.


Natural Latex Mattresses

Latex is an all natural foam which is extracted from the rubber tree in a process that  is similar to removing sap from a maple tree.  Once the latex is extracted, the product is placed into a mold and molded into a form that can be tilized in the mattress manufacturing process. Some important facts about latex is that it is s 4 times more breathable then synthetic foam .and  3 times more durable while  also being HypoAllergenic Our organic natural latex mattress is wrapped with layers of certified organic cotton on both top and bottom of the latex core.  Once the wrapping is complete, we cover the mattress in  100% cotton ticking and lace tuft each mattress by hand.   The mattress depth when the manufacturing process is complete is  approximately 6.5".
